Delhi Metro: DMRC and NBCC come together to enhance infrastructure of Delhi Metro

Good news for Delhi Metro commuters! The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and public sector undertaking NBCC teamed up on Monday, August 21, to improve the Delhi Metro’s infrastructure.

The officials claim that DMRC and NBCC are collaborating on building infrastructure both domestically and internationally. DMRC posted a notice about this change on its official social media account on X, often known as Twitter.

“A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between DMRC and NBCC (India) Limited to work together in the field of infrastructure development in India and abroad,” DMRC said in a post.

Dr. P.K. Garg, Director of Business Development at DMRC, and Saleem Ahmad, Director of Projects at NBCC, signed the MoU. Dr. Vikas Kumar, the managing director of DMRC, and P. K. Gupta, the chairman and managing director of NBCC (India) Ltd. were also present when the agreement was signed.

According to authorities, at least 26 construction workers were killed and two were injured when a railway bridge in Mizoram collapsed. The state-run railway authority has opened an investigation.
