For the second phase of the Kochi metro rail project, a consortium of Systra and Systra MVA Consulting India Private Limited has been chosen as the general consultant.
According to sources, the companies have been working on projects in the rail, high-speed rail, and light metro sectors as part of the infrastructure development for the public transportation sector.
The Kochi metro’s second phase’s construction will be supervised by the consortium. The general consultant also assesses the suggestions supplied by the contractors and design consultant. They are also accountable for ensuring that building projects adhere to high standards of quality and safety.
From the metro station at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium to Infopark, Kakkanad, the second phase of the metro has an 11.2-km route. Loknath Behera, MD of Kochi Metro Rail Limited, stated that the second phase’s civil construction is anticipated to start before to the Onam festival.
