Instead of travelling through convoy of cars, Ambassador Garcetti opted for the efficient Delhi Metro.
During his journey, Ambassador Garcetti was not just a silent observer; he actively engaged with fellow passengers, exchanged pleasantries, and posed for selfies. A video capturing this moment has been circulating on social media, showcasing the Ambassador’s enthusiastic ride on the Magenta Line. In the video, Eric Garcetti can be seen holding a smart card and saying, “Delhi Metro, Mera Metro,” which translates to “Delhi Metro, My Metro.” This simple yet impactful gesture resonated with the locals and reinforced the idea of inclusivity and togetherness in the Delhi Metro.
