Vande Bharat trains were officially flagged off between Gorakhpur-Lucknow and Jodhpur-Sabarmati

At Gorakhpur Station in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally inaugurated two new and upgraded versions of Vande Bharat Express trains. Anandiben Patel, the governor of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, Ravi Kishan Shukla, public officials, and special guests were among the luminaries that attended the ceremony.

The two new Vande Bharat Express trains will run between Jodhpur-Ahmedabad (Sabarmati) and Gorakhpur-Lucknow via Ayodhya, ushering in a new age of luxurious and improved rail travel experiences.

With stoppages at Basti and Ayodhya, the second Vande Bharat Express in Uttar Pradesh will leave from Gorakhpur and arrive in Lucknow on the same day. With stoppages at Pali Marwad, Ranakpur, and Abu Road, the Jodhpur-Ahmedabad (Sabarmati) Vande Bharat Express in Rajasthan will leave from Jodhpur Railway Station and arrive at Ahmedabad (Sabarmati) station on the same day.

With the addition of the Gorakhpur-Lucknow and Jodhpur-Sabarmati routes, there are now 50 operational Vande Bharat routes in India, significantly improving connectivity and the traveller experience.
