The Indian Railways has announced the fourth Vande Bharat Express train for Rajasthan, which will run between Jaipur to Chandigarh.
Although the commencement date and prices have not yet been officially announced, sources from the railways indicated that the service would start soon. According to them, the fourth Vande Bharat will differ from the other three that are now in use in Rajasthan.
The three Vande Bharat trains currently operate between Jodhpur and Sabarmati, Jaipur and Udaipur, and Jaipur and Delhi.
There has long been a call for the Vande Bharat Express train to run on the Chandigarh-Jaipur rail line in Ambala division.
The new train’s operation will boost convenience while also saving passengers’ time.
On the other hand, following a four-year hiatus, work has resumed on the new Ratlam-Banswara-Dungarpur rail route. Indian Railways has sought the acquired land from Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan governments.
