One of India’s leading steel producers, Maharatna Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), has aligned itself with the country’s carbon neutrality objective.
The company’s recently opened Beneficiation Plant at its Bhilai Steel Plant’s Dalli-Rajhara Mines, which was officially opened by Hon’ble Steel and Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, is a significant step in this direction.
Low-grade iron ore will be processed in this beneficiation facility and will also be used in the blast furnaces of the Bhilai Steel Plant.
