To examine the draft report of the Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) created for the development of transport infrastructure in Thiruvananthapuram city, the Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) will host a stakeholder meeting. The meeting will take place on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Mascot Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram.
Ministers, MLAs, other district citizens’ representatives, representatives from the relevant government departments, as well as traders, business owners, and residents’ associations, will attend the meeting.
The draft report prepared by the Urban Mass Transit Company on behalf of the KMRL will be presented and discussed at the meeting. For the final report, suggestions will be taken into account. The Comprehensive Mobility Plan will include recommendations for MRTS lines, mobility hubs, bus rapid transit systems, and other topics as needed by the city.
A comprehensive mobility plan is a study that helps in the development of transport facilities in the city. The proposals in the plan will be useful for improving public transport systems and facilities for pedestrians.
