Near the Noida Sector 52 Metro station, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has successfully removed a significant traffic obstruction.
Following thorough preparation and 24-hour execution, DMRC successfully removed a pillar from a foot-over bridge (FOB), facilitating easy traffic flow. The FOB, which was installed in March 2019 for the ease of commuters, caused problems when an underpass was built beneath it in 2021.
The old pillar was taken down, new ones were put up, and the road was repaired in under three months, all while maintaining the safety of people and vehicles. The DMRC conducted the work with close cooperation from NOIDA Authority and NOIDA Traffic Police.
