The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has introduced a smartphone application called “DMRC TRAVEL” that enables users to buy paperless online mobile QR tickets for travelling across the DMRC network in Delhi and the NCR. The “DMRC TRAVEL” app allows users to purchase Delhi Metro tickets directly from their cell phones.
According to official sources, passengers must download the “DMRC Travel and Map Navigation App” from the Google Play store. First, open the app and create an account. Choose the Book Ticket option on the homepage to purchase the QR ticket.
The application offers flexibility and convenience to users by supporting a variety of payment options, including UPI, credit/debit cards, and wallets.
In addition to ticketing, the application provides additional features like route planning, fare calculation, station information, and smart card recharge. The app also provides route details from point A to point B, including interchange stations. You can rebook tickets for the same origin-destination and return trip while reviewing your transaction history.
